Checking things off - March 14

So most of today was calling and setting follow up appointments, learning about her feeding stuff, and just checking stuff off the discharge list so it doesn't all wait until Monday.

We did her car seat study and she did NOT like that thing (VIDEO!)! It took her awhile to calm down after pitching a little fit over it, but then she enjoyed having a place to sit and watch everyone walking by. On the plus side, that's the loudest she's been in 4 weeks, and she passed! I'm hoping it's like her swing - she didn't like it the first time, but after she figured out it was ok, she loves it.

We had a lot of deliveries today -

- we got the feeding pump we'll be using (along with all of the bags, tubes, etc that go with that )

- we got the portable oxygen tank (and tubes, cannulas, etc that go with it). It only has a 3-4 supply so we're a little more tethered to the house than I expected. We're working on getting a second tank so that we at least have the flexibility to go to services on Sunday without pushing our luck!

- we also got the monitor she will be on to make sure her breathing and heart rate are steady and stable.

They will deliver the oxygen unit for at the house on Monday.

My parents were here for parts of this week and since Mom couldn't take Baby Girl to the beach like she wanted to she brought the beach to Baby Girl.

Happy Spring Break and the beginning of our last hospital weekend!
