- C, my parents and I got trained in infant CPR. They're going to give us a little kit so that we can show Big Big (and any other family that's interested) the basics.
- Tomorrow we get to spend a good chunk of the day calling, setting and confirming follow up appointments with a list of people.
- They think they've got everything narrowed down to two companies that we'll be working with after we go home.
- I asked about the facts that she doesn't really make any sounds because that makes me super nervous to bring her home knowing if something's wrong I won't be able to hear her and the doctor said that there's no damage so it's just a matter of time; there's nothing that can be done to make her start using them. Fortunately, she doesn't get upset easily or pitch a fit over every little thing but since she's going home with oxygen she'll be on a smaller version of the monitor she's got now so if she does, we'll be able to tell from the monitor going off.
- We've decided we're bringing home the perfect 3 month old baby - she doesn't cry, she sleeps through the night, she doesn't spit up (because of the part of the second surgery to help with reflux), and she pretty much takes everything in stride without complaining! She is going to be ridiculously bored the first few days at home though with only me to talk to her during the day when she's used to so much activity going in and so many people talking to her :)
