Baby Girl got lots of daddy time yesterday. It was the first Saturday in a while that he didn't get an overtime assignment got basketball games! Quite appropriately, the nurse had her in a onesie that said: My daddy makes me smile - and she did when she saw him :)
Yesterday was a learning day for C. We're usually not here together in the morning so he hasn't gotten to participate in our morning routine - temperature, diaper change, cleaning her tube site, checking for sores and rashes from bandages and laying in one spot too long, giving her vitamins and starting the feed. I think he was a bit overwhelmed!
We had a nice rainy day napping though. There were no changes to feed or oxygen. The plan was to have her off oxygen before her shots Monday so they'll have to give it at least a trial run Sunday.
