Update pictures!
Here's from the front door - in comparison to the original pictures it's a lot of progress! Compared to the cleaned out pictures it looks like a step back as far as clutter goes, but much more finished looking!
Sheetrock is up across the ceiling and back wall. Kitchen wall is about 85% done. Still need to run the last two pieces of sheetrock on the end. Cabinets should be installed this weekend. Looks much better since the last update!
Biggest change in the bathroom area is the rest of the shower walls are up. It has now become the storage area to keep extra supplies out of the way.
Next big step, which I talked a bit about on Tuesday, is the floor.
It's a mess. It's covered in dirt, sheetrock dust, spilled stuff and a thin layer of a nice bluish colored paint.
Scrubbing isn't doing much but creating mud. The plan for tomorrow and Saturday is a floor sander. First step is to mop about 27 times where the cabinets will go so that portion will at least be clean. We'll see what happens after that. Options include re-painting, sanding it down and just sealing it, laminate wood flooring and the easy option: rugs.
Sorry for the picture quality...snapped them with my phone as I was finishing up tonight. I'll take some with my camera after we get done this weekend!
