Finally an Update! Feb 15

Yay - the surgeon is back from vacation! We are tentatively scheduled for Monday morning at 9! He has to confirm with the ENT and anesthesiologist and hopes to let us know by the end if today or tomorrow morning. He wasn't too happy to be doing another surgery on Baby Girl - apparently he wasn't aware the g-tube and fundoplication were on the table before the diaphragm surgery or he would have advocated for doing all three at once. Oh well, we have her a better chance at not having this surgery by trying it this way first, just didn't work out like we hoped.

We're taking a break from the casts/ splints for a couple of days; they seem to be rubbing on her in a couple of places so the PT is going to look at them and see what we can use for a little more padding - but if the surgery stays on Monday, she won't be wearing them until a few days after that.

Anyway, things are looking good to move forward, get the surgery done, quick recovery (prayers!) and get Baby Girl home! I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high, but home for Spring Break would sure be nice :)
