It was another quiet day today. My parents came by on their way out and Baby Girl and Nanny had a serious discussion about getting her into a pool or down to the beach for spring break so she could kick her feet around in the water. That's their new plan - escape and then head to the beach :)
Her nasal cannula was reduced down to 1.5 liters - I would be very surprised of that thing isn't gone by Wednesday, Thursday at the latest! She is doing really well with her breathing, keeping it calm and steady so I don't think she needs it anymore. That's my completely non-medically informed opinion though.
They also increased her feeding to 68 mL so she's got a lot of catching up to do once we start back on the bottle! She's definitely trying to make some noises and sounds and get her message across when you talk to her so hopefully tomorrow they'll tell us that everything looks fine and that she's good to go and that the swelling around her vocal chords is going down.
