Valentine's Countdown - Feb 10

So I've never been huge on Valentine's Day (until all the chocolate goes on sale) but this year, big sister and I have picked out a different cute Valentine-y outfit for each day this week so that makes it a little better. Arranged in order of cuteness we start off the week with a simple but sweet pink print:

We had a good day - still no word on a surgery date. We took the arm casts off and it looks like one of them was irritating the crease of her thumb - she either had it pulled in too right for a little too long, or it's been rubbing all week and it just now started looking irritated. At any rate, it was red and puffy this morning, but wasn't yesterday and looks a little raw but nothing too serious. They ordered some medication to put on it and she gets a break for a couple days from the cast...maybe she planned that...

Anyway, everything is looking good! All of the nurses and therapists that we're looking after her during the post-surgery / recovery period the last few weeks have been stopping by and commenting on how much better she looks, and all of the nurses she had last week and over the weekend are amazed at how laid back, easy going and happy she is considering all she's been through!

Last bit of news: the baby we started out next to, that was in surgery right before us for her feeding tube, whose mom has been such an encouragement to me and has stopped by several times to check on Baby Girl after her surgery gets to go home today!!!!! I'm so excited for them - they've been here a little over 4 months and I know Mama C is ready to take her baby girl home! Please pray that everything continues to go well for them!
