Today was a nice slow day of rocking with Baby Girl. I didn't get there until late afternoon due to worship services and a group lunch we stayed for. I'm glad we decided to stay - it was good to spend some time with people other than nurses and doctors, even though we've got some great ones! I love our church family and they've been right behind us, holding us up with love and encouragement and prayers (and meals last week and this coming week!) through this whole thing, so it was good to get to say thank you in person.
Anyway, late afternoon, rocking chair, me and Baby Girl...and some headbands :)
My aunt got these for her for Christmas. I put the first one on her and she opened her eyes and looked at me, then decided she was completely uninterested in whatever I was doing with her head. If you look closely in the left hand side pictures, you'll notice something new she's mastered over the last week...she has learned how to hold her pacifier in all by herself. In fact, if it falls out she won't let you move her hands to get it back in because she knows where they need to be to hold it :) It's a little harder for her without the casts on but she was still trying yesterday!
The last picture is just because she looked so peaceful sleeping - and who can resist a sleeping baby picture?!?
Sleep well Baby Girl - we've got a big big day tomorrow!!!

Rest well my darlings...God be with you all tomorrow. ♡♡
Love the bows! Can't wait to play around with baby pics!!
All of you and the doctors and nurses who will be doing sweet Lexi's surgery are on our minds and in our prayers this morning. Continuing to pray that this will help your sweet little one breathe easier in the coming days. We love you all! And she looks adorable in the bows! :)
