She is now completely done with the IV fluids and is receiving 8mL per hour of continuous feed - hopefully this will help her gain back a little bit of the weight she's lost over the last week!
She is done with one round of antibiotics and only had a few more days left on the other dose (these were started to help fight off the lung infection / pneumonia).
Her blood gas tests looked great all day yesterday so they have removed the arterial line that was giving her so much trouble - so we're down to only one needle left! She's also still receiving no oxygen; breathing room air with the help of the cpap mask.
The disappointment for Mama: looks like the mask is staying for a few more days. The damage to her airways from the intubation (some scratching, etc) is still swollen and now that she's off the steroids she's breathing a little more heavily than they'd like to see so they want to continue the support pressure from the cpap mask until that calms down more. Prayers for my patience would be greatly appreciated!
On the plus side, we spent most of today cuddled up in a rocking chair :)

Cuddling your baby girl in a rocking chair sounds like the PERFECT way to spend a cold blustery day!! ♡
So glad things are looking up for baby girl. Enjoy holding her enough for all of us.
