She had a good session with the PT this morning before we got to the hospital and did some more work with the speech therapist on her eating - she does good with 2 out of the 3 (suck, swallow, breath) at a time but still having trouble throwing in the third. She is working hard and trying though!
The pulminologist also stopped by and said that even though she's still breathing rapidly, her lungs sound clear - not like she's struggling to keep up or catch her breath so that was good to hear because to me it just seems like she's always panting and having a hard time.
She was a little bit fussy on and off, but behaved well for the visitors she had today - and she had a lot! My grandmother, aunt and cousin came by on their way back out to Midland.
And the K's finally got to come see her! They've been out of town for Christmas and just got back in town this week. It was so good to see them and get to visit with them and their kiddos.
And Nanny and Grandpa are back in the area for a couple of days so they stopped by for a bit.
Tomorrow we'll be recasting her wrists again so hoping for the same positive results this time around. C and I have a meeting with the geneticist - not sure if it's about test results or just wanting to finish getting family profiles or just touching base now that the holidays are over but I'll let you know tomorrow!
