Happy New Year! Jan 1

Since it's a holiday not many of the therapists were in today, but the OT and PT did come by to re-cast Baby Girl's wrists. They were very excited to see the difference that two days made, not only in her wrists, but with her thumbs as well. They've been tucked up right against her palms but when they took the casts off this morning they were actually hanging down pretty straight! You can also tell a difference in the first joint of her fingers as well. This is from before the first cast and then after - not the best angle to see the difference, but it's there! They were also impressed with how much more relaxed she seemed - until they started putting the casts back on...she wasn't too happy about that :(

We also had some visitors today! C's mom and sister came and spent some time with her so now she's met all of our siblings except one! 

It seems like today went by really fast - it's hard to believe it's been 12 days already! Tomorrow will be an exciting day - we've got quite a few visitors planning to come by and more work with the physical therapist and speech therapist.

Now that things have calmed down, if you're interested in visiting please let C or I know and we'd be glad to let you come love on her! To close out for the day, I caught her smiling in her sleep! (Don't ask how many shots it took...)
