Super Saturday - Jan 11

Today was a pretty special day!

Not only did we have a visit from some friends from church:

And not only did we get in some good quality Big Sister time - Lainey read her "Hop on Pop" and Lila helped her get some new clothes on:

And not only did we get to take off the casts for a couple of hours to do some stretching and relaxing (and some hand holding with Mama)

Baby Girl ALSO got to meet a pretty special lady today! C was able to bring his grandmother over - she has been patiently waiting for her turn to get to meet Baby Girl and today was the day!

A couple of other things, we got told that the diaphragm plication surgery will be Monday morning at 10:30 am so please pray for us during that time. She did really well with her bottle feeding overnight - she took 14mL at her 3:00 am feeding! And she was also fairly tolerant of me stretching out her hands and fingers.

Her left side (arm, hand, leg, everything is tighter than than the right so she's a little more protective of it. Every time I would start to mess with her left hand she would reach over and grab at my fingers with her right hand - so she's starting to have some more control and command over her motions!

We showed off our leg movement last time, so here's a couple of arm videos from right after I took of the splints:

Oh, Ruby! She's so beautiful! And, boy, do those Moseleys have some strong genes!! Love the videos of her :) Baby hands are so sweet! Glad y'all had a good day! I WILL get there to see her soon! I can't wait to meet her and hold her! We're praying that the surgery Monday goes well and that it does what it's intended to do.
