Double Duty - Jan 8-9

Not a lot of updates from yesterday - they recast her hands and said the finger roll helped a lot on her right hand! Today they took the casts off by cutting them instead of unrolling them so they could be made into splints. We're supposed to take them off for a little bit at least every other day and do some stretching with her and then put them back on.

Also the director of the child development center came by to see her yesterday. She said she was very alert and attentive and adorable :)

The OT worked with her yesterday on eating and today I got to feed my Baby Girl! She took 12 mL - so slowly making improvements! The nurses are supposed to be working with her on the bottle at every other feed. The OT is also going to look at some different bottles to start working with next week.

Dr. G is still wanting to look at the diaphragm plication surgery to make it easier for her to breath, which would in turn make it easier for her to build up endurance with eating.

Yesterday was a super long day at the house but I'm feeling better and told C there was no way I was missing two days!

Also, the two babies I asked for your prayers for last week both had their feeding tube surgeries yesterday so please pray for their recovery.
